I was seven years old when I told Jesus I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Him. In the years between then and now, there were too many in which our relationship closely resembled the marriage of Hosea and Gomer. But we went through some intense "marriage counseling" in 2002, and we haven't been the same since.
There are still moments when I am unfaithful, but I know that He is quick to forgive and receive me back into His arms.
Jesus has been my Creator, my Savior, my Father, the One who Orders my days, my Sustainer in dark days, my Friend in sunny days, my Deliverer, my most trusted Confidant, my Warrior and my Comforter. He loves me more than any person who has ever drawn a breath on this earth. I am His, and He is mine.
I hope you are able to say the same. If you can't and would like to know how, drop me a line. I would love to hear from you!
